Her Birthday

It was her birthday

and yet again it was time to tell her

how much she meant to me.

This time though,

there were a lot of people around us

from the common man to politicians,

professionals to businessmen.

In silence she listened to me unperturbed, till I finished,

resting in peace amidst those celebrities.
